Hossa Holiday Centre is situated in the middle of beautiful landscapes in the Finnish province of Kainuu, on the shores of Lake Hossa. You can spend your vacation relaxing in many ways, year-round. There is something to do for everyone; in the summer, a hiking area with marked trails, huts and shelters, in the winter, machine-groomed ski trails of various lengths, e.g. 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, and a 3 km lighted ski trail. There are about 100 kilometres-worth of ski trails, as well as mapped snowmobile tracks, even for long trips. The area provides excellent fishing and hunting possibilities, and Hossa is a true fisherman's paradise! Fishing and hunting licenses are sold at the reception, as well as fishing tackle and gasoline. The services also include catering and guide services (fishing, hunting, hiking, cross-country ski trips etc.). Hossa Holiday Centre also arranges guided hiking trips, trips into the colourful autumn wilderness, and snowmobile excursions, as well as reindeer-drawn sleigh rides. Accommodations are available at the hotel or in cottages, and you can choose between a traditional Finnish smoke sauna, or the more conventional hotel sauna. The congress and seminar facilities are located near the two hotel saunas.
